Pull on the furler to make sure the “T-ball" does not come out of slot. See how the forestay/"T-ball" hangs down? This could result in the T-ball not seating correctly. Hunter pretty much admits it did not consider that roller furler jibs would be the preferred headsail on this boat. The result could be disastrous when the head stay comes loose at the most inopportune time. The grey clips don't really hold the "T-ball" in place. Some older masts have a rubber plug. I got mine from Seco South (#727-536-1924). Fail to carefully watch this could result in a demasting. One way to ensure the headstay does not come out of the slot is to tape it into position with electrical tape.
